Peeps! Hiya.. back from India.. too much to share and tell.. guess i will just blog about wat matters the most ya.. or should i say the greatest take away..
Well.. that place is full of slumps.. poverty is throughout the land.. kids on the street begging.. its a common sight.. life is so diff for kids in SG.. the govt should send kids on an educational tour to India as a compulsory trip so they can learn to appreciate how gd their life is in SG..
Anyway.. India dun rly have prata.. instead what they have is nann.. something rly similar to prata but not.. they cook in an urn filled with charcoals.. they paste the dough inside it to cook.. its quite cool.. haha.. if u wanna try in Sg.. i only know a place near NP cal alumi or something.. haha.. they serve it after 6pm...
Life is dirt cheap in India.. the cow there has more value then humana live... becos the indian's believe that their GOD resides in the cow's stomach..
Like i mentioned.. the drivers there are rly impressive.. haha.. They dun rly earn much there even for the military ppl.. the driver that they hired to drive the "Quali" aka SUV la.. haha.. dunno y they name it that way.. haha.. he earns only 2000 rupee for 1 month.. thats less then 100 sing.. but to them its a very decent job..
I rly enjoyed the time there.. its the journey that matters.. not the destination.. i have the company of great ppl like Liqi, Say Theng, Cpt Robin, Darren, Cpt Joel, Luke, Sky, Tan and Oh.. they all have been rly great friends.. learn alot from them.. and i hope i can become a better person after this trip.. Say theng share alot on his stories.. the "Ti Kong Story" , "Apple Tree" and the "Waves". I rly hope i can learn the true meaning and practise what it teaches me.. i dun want to just know the story but dunno the meaning..
ppl often dun practise what they preach..
